SafeVoice is a prototype for anonymous community reporting and peer support around harassment and unsafe experiences.

What anonymous means here

No account, name, phone number or email is requested. Posts are not supposed to contain identifying information. However, infrastructure providers may keep technical logs, so this prototype should not be described as perfectly anonymous.

What it is not

It is not an emergency service, police reporting system, legal finding, or proof that an allegation is true. If someone is in immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency services or a trusted person.

Why moderation exists

Anonymous spaces can protect vulnerable people, but they can also be abused for doxxing, false accusations, threats and harassment. Submissions therefore enter a moderation queue before publication.
